Unplug & Unwind: Silent Wellness Weekend

How about taking a break? Taking some time for yourself to literally unplug and unwind?
Let us pamper you during a nourishing weekend of silence and rest.

Replace the digital buzz with calm and ease. We will take you to a beautiful place where you can carelessly relax, while we provide you with delicious and healthy food, restorative yoga, meditation and various other activities. This retreat is carefully designed to help you fully restore and recharge.

The weekend will be held in social silence so you can literally ‘unplug’. Outside of set moments during the day, we honor stillness. This will deepen your experience on many levels. Social talk, listening and even thinking about speaking keeps the mind active, whereas silence promotes rest. Consequently, you will experience profound peace and calm in body, heart and mind.

This weekend is the kind of break that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. What are you waiting for?

Our beautiful, fully air-conditioned villa offers various types of spacious rooms. The weekend includes the following:
• Lodging for the whole weekend: Friday 3rd of May 7:30PM –
Sunday 5th of May 7:30PM
• Welcome drink on Friday evening
• Fire ceremony
• Daily breakfast, freshly made smoothies
• Afternoon teatime & bites
• Mindful glass of wine on Saturday evening
• Snacks, fruit and beverages throughout the whole weekend
• Lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday

Yin Yoga Foundations Training

This 50hr Yin Yoga Foundations Training (YYF) is developed those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the practice and teaching of yin yoga. You will learn about Yin Yoga from a functional view instead of an aesthetic approach, with the purpose of creating an individualized, meaningful experience for the practitioner. This training will focus primarily on functional anatomy, specifically on the tissues that Yin Yoga intends to influence, such as fascia. Yin yoga postures will be analyzed, including target areas and human (skeletal) variations, with the aim to fit the need of each unique individual. The intention of the training is that after completion, you will be able to safely apply foundational knowledge of yin yoga to your own practice and teaching.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is deeply rooted in Taoist philosophy and the Chinese Meridian System, which regards the body as an integrated system. The static, long-held postures are ideal for practicing mindfulness methods and stillness. Yin yoga sequences are carefully designed to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deeper layers of connective tissue in the body. On a physical level, yin postures restore and nourish the natural mobility of the joints, specifically of the lower body. On an energetic level, yin yoga targets the body’s meridian system, encouraging a freer flow of energy and supporting emotional balance. Through its practice of stillness, yin yoga prepares both body and mind for deeper experiences in meditation.

What will you learn during the YYF Training?
